The Tippmann 98 Custom is based on the exceptionally durable and robust blow-back system that has proven itself over the years. It's no coincidence that the Tippmann 98 Custom series is one of the most widely used markers in the world. Due to its easy maintenance and lack of maintenance, it is often used as a rental marker, especially on playing fields. Many also describe the Tippmann 98 Custom series as indestructible due to its reliability.

The main frame is constructed entirely of aluminum, making it extremely robust. Beneath it is the world-renowned blowback mechanism, which simulates a very effective recoil effect. The .45 rubber grip with bottom line and steel braided line makes the 98 comfortable to hold even in adverse conditions. The 8.5" (approx. 21 cm) precision interchangeable barrel with muzzle suppressor contributes to the excellent shooting performance. The ammunition feed is removable, making cleaning considerably easier than with other markers.

A new feature of the Platinium Series is the three-piece aluminum main body, which allows for even faster cleaning and repairs. It also makes attaching stocks and accessories much easier.
