The latest version of the Tippmann 98 Custom in the Platinum Series version with ACT (Anti-Chop-Technology) has a new type of bolt that prevents the barrel from bursting. The Platinum Series version also has a new Weaver rail on the body and is much easier to clean and maintain thanks to the new housing. It is far superior to the older Tippmann 98 Custom in terms of gaming performance.
