The Falkor Defense Recce S-AEG from APS offers the operator a lightweight and accurate alternative to traditional heavier-barreled rifles. Steeped in history, the Recce was originally developed by gunsmiths of the US Navy SEAL Team and later by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (often referred to as the NSWC-Crane or Crane) itself, to provide which the SEAL Recon Rifle was developed. Intended for snipers with a portable, lightweight and accurate weapon that is deadlier than a standard M4 carbine. The SEAL Recon Rifle is sometimes referred to as the Recce. FALKOR has adopted the heavier running concept of the Recce and improved the original concept. The end result is an AR15 that is unparalleled in terms of accuracy and reliability.

The Falkor Defense Recce from APS features a metal upper and lower receiver. With its comprehensive tactical design, this receiver is second to none. In addition to the Falkor's unique design, almost every part is ambidextrous including the magazine catch, bolt release, fire selector lever and a Falkor Mach 15 Ambi charging handle that is also present to complete the premium look of this rifle. A Super Dynamic 3-Gun Trigger style straight trigger allows the operator to achieve a unique and rapid rate of fire. The flared magwell features grooves on the front for users who prefer a magwell style grip for their rifle. It should also be noted that the upper receiver features a unique style that is visually different from all other M4 variants on the market. Continuing further you will find a flush top rail that leads to Falkor's Tyranny Free-Float 14.6 M-LOK handuard, allowing the end user to install all M-LOK compatible accessories and rail segments.

Inside, the Falkor Recce features a reinforced gearbox that has been precisely polished and tested to ensure low heat and friction coefficients. 8mm stainless steel ball bearings, a smooth trigger, a ball bearing spring guide and a high quality steel gear set ensure that the Falkor Recce's internal parts harmonize with the outstanding external parts of this rifle. The "eSilver Edge" V2 gearbox, specially developed for this replica, ensures stable and reliable operation. In addition to many reinforced parts, this gearbox is equipped with an SDU V2.0 microchip with MosFet (similar to G&G ETU series). The two components control the electric trigger and stop the power supply in the event of problems to prevent damage to the electronics.
