MAXTACT Derringer NBB Airsoft pistol (black) <0.5 Joule / FSK14
The name refers to the US arms manufacturer Henry Deringer, who developed a short, single-shot, muzzle-loading pistol with percussion ignition. John Wilkes Booth used such a Derringer to assassinate US President Abraham Lincoln on April 14, 1865. The all-metal airsoft version with its double-barrel design is arguably one of the most famous pistols of the Old West. The Double Barrel Derringer features authentic functionality and comes in 6mm BB caliber. The pistol is powered by airsoft gas.
The foldable outer barrel and the lower frame with grip panels are made entirely of sturdy aluminum. The trigger and hammer are also made of metal. This results in a suitable weight of approximately 385g. The airsoft gas is filled through the underside of the grip, as is common with many airsoft pistols.
Like the original, the double-barreled barrel can be unlocked using a side-mounted lever and then folded upwards. Each barrel is then loaded with a BB. The barrel is then folded back down and locked.
To fire, all you have to do is cock the hammer and pull the trigger. The Derringer then automatically cycles through the two barrels—just like the original.
