The Major Paintball M12-TR paintball mine was originally developed for military use and is used to simulate hidden charges.
It is loaded with a 12g Co2 capsule, a burst tube and either paint or powder and then positioned in the railing. The mine is triggered using a trip cable / trip cord. When triggered, the content (color / powder) is explosively transported out of the mine by the resulting pressure from the Co2 capsule and creates a clearly visible color spot or a cloud of dust on the target.
Paths, building entrances or comparable areas can be mined with this mine.
